My career path has brought me opportunities outside of my studied field of editing and it's always fun to add to the experiences. I worked as a Master Control Operator for Fox Sports for a couple of years, learning how programs and sports operate before they reach your living room TV. This was something that was very new to me and I had not considered this part of production before, so I found it exciting and fascinating.

 

While working on cruise ships, I filmed the footage that I needed for the edits. This gave me videography experience and I was able to plan out the shots I wanted before edit, which was beneficial.

I also have been gifted with a professional photography camera and have added photography to my hobbies. A lot of my photos are nature photography and I add them to stock libraries when I have the time.
