I am constantly grateful for those I have met throughout my journey and for the paths those meetings have led me down. I have had the pleasure to work with and learn from many talented individuals on supportive, encouraging, and creative teams.
As a people pleaser, I learned to turn this trait into a positive tool throughout my career by finding joy in helping or assisting others. I am fueled by creative enjoyment, self-improvement, my sense of responsibility and strong work ethic, and client satisfaction. I approach each opportunity with the goal to assist in every way I possibly can and be the person my co-workers and clients can depend on for open communication, solving technical difficulties, offering creative ideas and solutions, and implementing their visions to the highest standards.
My career journey has spanned roles in broadcast, live sports, and post-production. I began as a Broadcast Operator for Celebrity Cruises, producing and editing onboard content using programs such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, and Premiere Pro. Transitioning to land, I served as a Master Control Operator at Fox Sports, excelling in live game broadcasts and high-pressure technical troubleshooting. My passion for creative storytelling led me to roles in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., as an Assistant Editor on scripted and unscripted projects, eventually progressing to Editor at National Geographic.
As Head of Production & Video Editor at Curbio, I managed a dynamic post-production schedule, creating compelling marketing and social content. Now freelancing as both video editor and voiceover artist, I've had the pleasure of working on diverse projects, from corporate videos and virtual events to TV series like PBS’s What Can You Become and a Netflix competition show.
My former colleague and I are also beginning a new business venture with Express Video Edits, with the goal to bring affordable, high-quality video content to businesses of all sizes.
